Why We Ride 65: 65 Roses® is what some children with CF call their disease because the words are much easier for them to pronounce. Mary G. Weiss became a volunteer for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in 1965 after learning that her three little boys had CF.
How does this fit the 3RBC Mission?
One of the Five E's of the Bicycle Friendly Community criteria is encouragement. By helping this cycling event grow each year, 3RBC can show that bicycling in the Tri-Cities is encouraged. We can also help a wonderful cause, one that affects some in our own cycling community.
